Objective To explore the relationship between dietary intake and the risk of sarcopenia in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis(PD),and to analyze the dose-response relationship between them,so as to provide accurate dietary guidance. Methods A 1 ∶ 2 matched case-control study was conducted. A total of 213 PD patients who received regular follow-up in a tertiary hospital in Nanchang from December 2024 to May 2025 were included, with 71 cases in the sarcopenia group and 142 cases in the non-sarcopenia group. Dietary intake was assessed using a 3-day 24-hour recall method, and restricted cubic splines(RCS) were applied to analyze the dose-response relationship. Results There was a non-linear dose-response relationship between energy intake and the risk of sarcopenia (non-linear P=0.029). When energy intake was less than 1880 kcal/day,the risk of sarcopenia decreased significantly with the increase in dietary intake;when energy intake exceeded this value, the protective effect tended to stabilize. Multivariate analysis showed that high intake of vegetables(OR=1.034) and vitamin C(OR=1.253) increased the risk of sarcopenia, while high intake of tubers(OR=0.868),fruits(OR=0.965),livestock and poultry meat(OR=0.950),total vitamin A(OR=0.955),vitamin B1OR=0.991),vitamin D(OR=0.244),and calcium(OR=0.998) had protective effects against sarcopenia. Conclusion There is a threshold effect of energy intake(1 880 kcal/d) in PD patients. Clinical nursing should take ensuring adequate energy intake as the primary goal and optimize the dietary structure. It is recommended to prioritize increasing the intake of protective foods such as tubers, fruits, and livestock and poultry meat, while controlling vegetable intake within 300 g/d to avoid its diluting effect on the intake of key nutrients such as protein.

Objective To identify the developmental trajectory of social alienation and its risk factors in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD) patients, for early detection of high-risk individuals and development of personalized care. Methods A total of 320 MHD patients treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University from June 2022 to December 2024 were prospectively selected. The General Alienation Scale was used to assess the level of social alienation in MHD patients, with measurements taken at 1 week,1 month,3 months, and 6 months after dialysis initiation. The optimal number of latent classes was determined and named using a latent variable mixed growth model. Multivariate Logistic regression analyses were performed to identify independent influencing factors among the latent classes. Results A total of 300 patients were finally included in the study. Social alienation was divided into 3 latent classes, namely the slow-decreasing social alienation class(36.00%),the continuous-increasing social alienation class(38.00%),and the persistent high social alienation class(26.00%). The results showed that age, marital status, place of residence, dialysis vintage, comorbid chronic diseases, social impact, disease acceptance, and family care were independent influencing factors for the developmental trajectory of social alienation in MHD patients(all P<0.05). Conclusion The heterogeneity in social alienation trajectories among MHD patients underscores the need for clinicians to accurately identify high-risk trajectories and implement differentiated interventions to alleviate social alienation in MHD patients.

Objective To conduct a scoping review of the psychological experiences, influencing factors, and intervention strategies related to social isolation among patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis, with the aim of informing future research and clinical practice. Methods According to the scoping review framework, relevant literature was systematically retrieved, with the search period extending from the database inception to September 3,2025. The included studies were summarized and analyzed. Results A total of 16 studies were included, comprising 3 qualitative studies,11 cross-sectional studies, and 2 intervention studies. The main psychological experiences include social avoidance,self-isolation,role weakening, and a sense of isolation within the healthcare system. The influencing factors cover multiple dimensions, including demographic data,disease-related information, and psychosocial factors, with some studies showing heterogeneous results. Intervention strategies involve family-oriented acceptance and commitment therapy and group-based mindfulness interventions, both of which were shown to alleviate social isolation and improve psychological well-being. Conclusion Research on social isolation among maintenance hemodialysis patients remains in its preliminary stage. The influencing factors are complex, and the underlying mechanisms remain incompletely elucidated, while intervention strategies are relatively limited. Future studies should focus on developing disease-specific assessment tools, establishing early identification models, and conducting longitudinal and interventional research,in order to generate robust evidence that supports social reintegration and enhances quality of life for this patient population.

Objective To investigate the dynamic changes and influencing factors of perioperative muscle status in older patients undergoing major abdominal surgery, thereby providing a reference for developing individualized nursing care plans. Methods A convenience sample of 164 older patients undergoing major abdominal surgery in the Department of General Surgery at a tertiary hospital in Beijing was enrolled between January 2023 and January 2024. Muscle status was assessed preoperatively,at a week, and a month postoperatively using grip strength, gait speed, and bioelectrical impedance analysis. Group-based trajectory modeling(GBTM) was employed to identify latent classes of muscle status progression. Logistic regression analysis was used to examine the influencing factors across the different trajectory groups. Results Among the 147 elderly patients completing the study, and the effective response rate was 89.63%. Repeated measures ANOVA revealed statistically significant differences in sarcopenia status at 3 time points(P<0.05). Totally 3 progression models were identified:stable non-sarcopenic group, potential recovery sarcopenic group, and rapid deterioration sarcopenic group. Multivariate analysis confirmed advanced age as risk factors for worsening sarcopenia, and conversely, higher BMI,and higher Barthel Index scores and male sex as protective factors(P<0.05). Conclusion The study found that there was heterogeneity in the development of muscle condition from preoperative to 1 month after surgery in elderly patients with major abdominal surgery. Barthel Index,BMI,age, and sex were identified as significant predictors of sarcopenia progression. Therefore, implementing stratified nursing care and early interventions for high-risk groups is recommended.

Objective To construct and validate a prediction model for bleeding complications at the puncture site in liver cancer patients after percutaneous femoral artery interventional therapy, providing a reference for healthcare professionals to early identify and prevent the occurrence of such complications. Methods Using a prospective study design,915 liver cancer patients undergoing percutaneous femoral artery interventional therapy were consecutively enrolled from a tertiary hospital in Shanghai between June and December 2024 as a modeling cohort. An external validation cohort comprising 582 liver cancer patients from 3 tertiary hospitals in Shanghai and Beijing was prospectively enrolled between March and May 2025. Characteristic predictors were screened using Lasso-Logistic regression to construct a Logistic regression model and visualized as a Nomogram. Model performance was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curves,Hosmer-Lemeshow tests, and decision curve analysis to assess discrimination, calibration, and clinical utility. Internal validation was performed via the bootstrap method. Results Based on Lasso-Logistic regression,5 predictors were selected for model construction:thrombocytopenia, postoperative hypertension, total bilirubin level, number of vascular punctures, and compression method. The prediction model demonstrated an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.760(95%CI:0.719~0.800),with a sensitivity of 66.9%,a specificity of 74.6%,and an accuracy of 82.8%. The calibration curve,Hosmer-Lemeshow test(P=0.818),and decision curve analysis all indicated favorable goodness-of-fit and clinical utility of the model. Conclusion The constructed predictive model effectively identifies the risk of puncture site bleeding complications in liver cancer patients, demonstrating robust generalizability and reliability. It provides a clinical basis for healthcare providers to recognize high-risk patients and implement personalized, precision preemptive care strategies.

Objective To conduct a scoping review on the application of brief mindfulness-based interventions in perioperative surgical patients, systematically summarizing their application scope, intervention protocols, and effects,so as to provide references for clinical practice. Methods A systematic search was conducted in PubMed,Embase,CINAHL,Web of Science,Scopus,ProQuest,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang Database, and CBM. The search period was from the inception of the databases to August 20,2025. The included literature was analyzed and summarized. Results A total of 16 papers were included, consisting of 14 randomized controlled trials and 2 non-randomized controlled trials. The target population for brief mindfulness-based interventions was primarily patients undergoing surgery under local anesthesia. The intervention forms were mainly media-guided,and the content included body scan, loving kindness meditation, and mindful breathing. The intervention frequency ranged from once every 2 weeks to once daily, with single session durations ranging from 1 min to 1 h,and the total duration ranged from 1 day to 6 weeks. The interventions showed positive effects in improving patients’ anxiety, depression, and fatigue, but the efficacy in pain relief remained inconsistent. Conclusion Brief mindfulness-based interventions demonstrate high feasibility and have a positive effect on improving the physical and mental health status of perioperative surgical patients. However, the application scope is relatively limited, and there is significant heterogeneity in intervention protocols. Future research should expand to patients undergoing surgery under regional and general anesthesia, and construct and validate standardized intervention protocols tailored to different perioperative contexts.
