Abstract:

Objective To investigate the current status of knowledge，attitudes，and practices（KAP） regarding peripheral arterial catheter（PAC） management among pediatric intensive care unit（PICU） nurses，and to analyze the associated influencing factors，with the aim of providing evidence for developing standardized training programs and optimizing management pathways. Methods This multicenter cross-sectional study was executed from November 2024 to April 2025. PICU nurses were recruited from 15 tertiary hospitals by convenience sampling. Data were gathered using a general information questionnaire and a PAC management KAP questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis was utilized to ascertain influential elements. Results A total of 465 questionnaires were disseminated，and 458 valid responses were obtained，resulting in a valid response rate of 98.49%. The average scores for the knowledge，attitude，and practice aspects were（59.58±11.85）（45.27±5.72），and （85.71±10.97），respectively，yielding a cumulative score of（190.56±23.78）. The respective score rates were 79.44%，90.54%，77.92%，and 81.09%. Significant positive relationships were observed between knowledge and attitude（r=0.538，P<0.001），knowledge and practice （r=0.516，P<0.001），and attitude and practice （r=0.514，P<0.001）. Multiple linear regression study revealed that specialized training，professional title，and geographic region significantly influenced PICU nurses’ knowledge，attitudes，and practices about PAC administration. Conclusion PICU nurses exhibited favorable views towards PAC management；still，their knowledge and practice behaviors necessitate enhancement. Nursing administrators ought to enhance organized training and develop diverse training programs matched to nurses’ professional titles to comprehensively elevate the quality of PAC management in critically pediatric patients.

目的 调查儿科ICU护士对外周动脉导管管理的认知、态度及实践行为现状，分析相关影响因素，旨在为制订标准化培训方案、优化管理路径提供依据。 方法 该研究为多中心横断面调查。采用便利抽样法，于2024年11月—2025年4月选取15所三级医院儿科ICU护士作为调查对象，采用一般资料调查表、外周动脉导管管理知信行问卷进行调查，并采用多元线性回归分析相关影响因素。 结果 发放问卷465份，回收有效问卷458份，有效问卷回收率为98.49%。儿科ICU护士的外周动脉导管管理知信行问卷知识维度得分为（59.58±11.85）分、态度维度得分为（45.27±5.72）分、行为维度得分为（85.71±10.97）分、问卷总分为（190.56±23.78）分，得分率分别为79.44%、90.54%、77.92%及81.09%。知识与态度、知识与行为、态度与行为维度得分均呈正相关（r=0.538，P<0.001；r=0.516，P<0.001；r=0.514，P<0.001）。多元线性回归分析结果显示，是否接受专项培训、职称及地区是影响儿科ICU护士外周动脉导管管理知信行的重要因素。 结论 儿科ICU护士对外周动脉导管管理的态度积极，但知识水平与实践行为有待改善。护理管理者应加强结构化培训，针对不同职称护士制订差异化培训方案，以全面提高危重症患儿外周动脉导管管理质量。
