Design and application of an intelligent reminder system in allergic asthma patients with anti-IgE therapy

Abstract:

Objective To design and develop an intelligent reminder system in allergic asthma patients with anti-IgE therapy and to evaluate its effects. Methods Based on expert consensuses,medicine instructions and clinical experience,an intelligent reminder system was developed,with the function of injection and appointment reminding,indications errors warning and patient education reminding. All participants were recruited from a tertiary hospital clinic in Hubei province by convenient sampling. The intervention group of 22 allergic asthma patients was prescribed with the anti-IgE therapy and was provided with the intelligent reminder system intervention from May to October 2019. While 19 cases,from November 2018 to April 2019,as the control group were also treated with anti-IgE therapy but received routine nursing care. The incidence of nursing defects,patient satisfaction and treatment compliance were compared between the 2 groups at the 12th week after the first injection. Results With the application of the intelligent reminder system,the incidences of nursing defects in patient evaluation,drug admixture,observation and management of adverse reactions,and health education were dramatically decreased(P<0.05),while the differences of incidences of nursing defects in preparation and injection were not shown between the 2 groups(P>0.05). Patients in the intervention group were more satisfied with working procedure,work efficiency,injection technology,privacy protection,health education and overall feelings than those in the control group(P<0.05),but the difference of attitude and communication was not observed in the 2 groups(P>0.05). The treatment compliance rate and the good compliance rate in the intervention group were much higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of the intelligent reminder system in anti-IgE therapy could standardize nursing behaviors,reduce nursing defects,improve patient satisfaction and increase treatment compliance.

摘要:

目的 设计、开发过敏性哮喘患者抗IgE治疗智慧提醒系统并评价其应用效果。 方法 基于专家共识、药品说明书和临床实践经验,设计开发具有注射提醒、预约提醒、适应证错误提醒和健康教育内容提醒功能的抗IgE治疗智慧提醒系统。便利选取2019年5月—10月在湖北省某三级甲等医院门诊接受抗IgE治疗的22例过敏性哮喘患者作为试验组,应用智慧提醒系统实施干预;选取2018年11月—2019年4月接受抗IgE治疗的19例过敏性哮喘患者作为对照组,采用常规护理措施。于患者接受治疗后第12周,比较两组护理缺陷率、患者满意度、治疗依从性。 结果 试验组在患者评估、药物配置、观察及处理不良反应和健康教育等环节的护理缺陷率均低于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);用药准备和注射环节护理缺陷率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。试验组对护理工作流程、工作效率、注射技术、隐私保护、健康教育和整体感受等方面的满意度均高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);态度与沟通方面满意度比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。试验组治疗依从率和治疗依从性良好率高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。 结论 应用智慧提醒系统可规范抗IgE治疗中的护理行为,减少护理缺陷,提高患者满意度及治疗依从性。
