Nursing care for a patient with Japanese encephalitis complicated by fulminant myocarditis and respiratory failure

Abstract

Abstract:

To summarize the nursing experience of a patient with Japanese encephalitis complicated by fulminant myocarditis and respiratory failure. Key points of nursing：multidimensional dynamic monitoring was performed to prevent multiple organ dysfunction；respiratory support and airway management were optimized to accelerate the recovery of respiratory function；individualized rehabilitation protocols were formulated to promote neurological functional reconstruction；comprehensive infection prevention and control measures were implemented to prevent vector-borne transmission and secondary infection. After 27 days of meticulous treatment and nursing care，the patient’s condition improved and he was discharged smoothly. During a 3-month telephone follow-up，the patient remained in good condition.

摘要：

总结1例流行性乙型脑炎继发暴发性心肌炎合并呼吸衰竭患者的护理。护理要点：开展多维度动态监测，预防多器官功能损伤；优化呼吸支持与气道管理，加速呼吸功能康复；制订个性化康复计划，促进神经功能重建；全面落实感染防控，防止虫媒传播与继发感染。经过27 d的精心治疗与护理，患者病情好转并顺利出院，电话随访3个月，状况良好。
