Life meaning and its influencing factors of end-stage renal disease patients

Abstract:

Objective To describe the status of life meaning of end stage renal disease（ESRD） patients and to explore its influencing factors. Methods A total of 512 ESRD patients from a tertiary A hospital in Henan province were investigated with the general information questionnaire,meaning in life questionnaire,perceived stress scale and social dysfunction screening scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of life meaning in ESRD patients. Results The score of meaning in life questionnaire in ESRD patients was 44.84±9.38,which is at a middle level. Age,type of dialysis,perceived stress and social dysfunction were influencing factors of end-stage renal disease patients（P<0.05）. Conclusion Life meaning in ESRD patients remains to be further improved,and it is affected by many factors. Medical staff should pay more attention to life meaning in ESRD patients,especially for those with elder age,hemodialysis,high perceived stress and social function defects. We should actively take predictive nursing intervention measures,in order to help them understand and comprehend the meaning of life.

摘要：

目的了解终末期肾脏病患者生命意义感现状并分析其影响因素。方法采用便利抽样法,于2021年3月—9月采用一般资料调查表、中文版生命意义感量表、中文版觉知压力量表和社会功能缺陷筛选表,对河南省某三级甲等医院的520例终末期肾脏病患者进行调查。采用多元线性回归分析终末期肾脏病患者生命意义感的影响因素。结果回收有效问卷512份,有效回收率为98.46%。终末期肾脏病患者生命意义感得分为（44.84±9.38）分,处于中等水平。多元线性回归分析结果表明,年龄、透析类型、觉知压力、社会功能是终末期肾脏病患者生命意义感的影响因素（P<0.05）。结论终末期肾脏病患者的生命意义感仍有待进一步改善,且受多方面因素的影响。医护人员应多关注高龄、血液透析、觉知压力大、社会功能缺陷患者,积极采取预见性护理干预措施,使其充分认识自身生命的真谛,领悟生命的意义。
