Abstract:

Objective To search, evaluate and summarize the best evidence of tracheotomy management in burn patients with inhalation injury,so as to provide references for clinical practice and establishment of the standard. Methods We searched Wanfang database,CNKI,PubMed,Medline, and American Burn Association(ABA). The retrieved evidence included clinical decisions, guidelines, evidence summaries, systematic reviews, and expert consensuses. The studies from the establishment of the database to April 30,2019 were incorporated. Research quality evaluation and evidence extraction were conducted independently by 2 researchers. Results This study incorporated 22 pieces of literature,74 pieces of best evidence were summarized. Conclusion In the application of clinical evidence,it is necessary to fully consider the specific clinical situation, and the evidence should be selected based on professional judgment and patient’s willingness and preference,so as to improve the quality of nursing care, reduce the incidence of complications and improve the recovery of patients.
