Objective To explore the application effect of health belief model combined with Otago exercise programme in home rehabilitation of patients after total hip arthroplasty, aiming to provide references for clinical nursing practice. Methods Using convenience sampling method,60 patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty admitted to a tertiary hospital in Huzhou City from January to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group using SAS software, with 30 patients in each group. The experimental group received a health belief model combined with Otago exercise programme intervention program on the basis of routine care, while the control group received routine care for 3 months. The differences in functional exercise compliance scores, general self-efficacy scores,Harris hip joint function scores, and Barthel index scores were compared between 2 groups within 3 months. Results No participants dropped out in the 2 groups. The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the time-group interaction effect of functional exercise compliance scores, general self-efficacy scores, hip joint function scores, and Barthel Index scores between the 2 groups at discharge and 1,2,and 3 months after discharge was statistically significant(P<0.001). The functional exercise compliance scores, general self-efficacy scores, hip joint function scores, and Barthel Index scores of the experimental group at 1,2,and 3 months after discharge were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001). Conclusion The combination of health belief model and Otago exercise programme is beneficial for improving the functional exercise compliance of patients after total hip arthroplasty, enhancing self-efficacy,promoting hip joint function recovery, and thus enhancing daily living abilities.

Objective To explore the potential profiles of discharge readiness among older patients with hip fractures and analyze the influencing factors, providing support for the implementation of precise discharge readiness nursing interventions in clinical practice. Methods Convenience sampling was used to select older patients with hip fractures admitted to 5 tertiary A hospitals in Beijing from September 2024 to February 2025 as the survey subjects. Data was collected using the patient’s general information questionnaire,Social Support Rating Scale,Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale, and Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale. Latent profile analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were employed to analyze the data. Results A total of 215 valid questionnaires were collected in this study, and 93.48% of the valid questionnaires were included. The score of discharge readiness was 6.17(5.42,6.75),which was at a moderately low level. Discharge readiness could be divided into 3 latent profiles, namely “low readiness-overall weakness type”(21.86%),“high readiness-adaptation leadership type”(39.07%),and “medium readiness-support advantage type”(39.07%). Family annual income level, activities of daily living ability at discharge, and social support level were independent predictors of the latent profiles of discharge readiness among older patients with hip fractures(all P<0.05). Among them, social support level had a significant positive impact on patients with medium and high discharge readiness. Conclusion The discharge readiness among older patients with hip fractures is at a moderately low level with significant heterogeneity. It is recommended to implement a basic needs priority-system support strengthening strategy for low readiness patients, enhance in-hospital support and optimize continuous care for high readiness patients, and carry out support-efficacy transformation interventions for medium readiness patients.

Objective Guided by the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model(APIM),this longitudinal study examines the dyadic interactions between emotion dysregulation and depressive symptoms in patient-spouse dyadic coping with malignant bone tumors. Methods Convenient sampling method was used to select 188 patients with malignant bone tumors and their spouses admitted to the orthopedic department of a tertiary hospital in Xuzhou City as the study subjects. The State Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale and Patient Health Questionnaire-9 were used for investigation at 3 time points:postoperative(T1),1 month(T2) and 3 months after postoperative(T3),respectively. Equivalence test and cross-hysteresis analysis of APIM were used for statistical analysis. Results The study collected 186 valid questionnaires with a high response rate of 98.94%. Longitudinal APIM analyses revealed significant actor and partner effects:both patients’ and spouses’ emotion dysregulation significantly predicted their own subsequent depressive symptoms, while their depressive symptoms also predicted later emotion dysregulation. Significant cross-partner influences emerged, with patients’ depressive symptoms predicting spouses’ subsequent symptoms and vice versa, demonstrating bidirectional interpersonal transmission of distress within couples facing malignant bone tumors. Conclusion This study reveals a bidirectional relationship between emotion dysregulation and depressive symptoms in dyadic coping with malignant bone tumors. These findings highlight the clinical importance of implementing couple-based interventions targeting emotion regulation skills in both patients and spouses, which may effectively disrupt the vicious cycle of mutual symptom reinforcement within these caregiving relationships.

Objective To analyze the current status and latent profiles of the mother-infant feeding interaction within 6 months postpartum, and to explore the influencing factors of different latent classes,in order to provide references for the development of interventions and promotion of exclusive breastfeeding. Methods Through convenience sampling,a total of 542 mothers within 6 months postpartum were recruited from 7 tertiary-level hospitals in Jiangsu Province between November and December 2024. Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, the Breastfeeding Relationship Scale, and the Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (BSES-SF). Latent profile analysis was employed to identify distinct patterns in the mother-infant feeding interaction. Factors influencing latent class membership were examined using univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results The score of items of the Breastfeeding Relationship Scale in 468 postpartum women is(4.13±0.54). The mother-infant feeding interaction within 6 months postpartum is divided into 3 latent classes, namely“weak bonding”(55.13%),“synchronous dissonance”(11.32%) and“efficient synergy”(33.55%). The influencing factors include place of residence, postnatal caregiver, breastfeeding method, feeding type, and breastfeeding self-efficacy(all P<0.05). Conclusion The mother-infant feeding interaction within 6 months postpartum is generally at a moderate to high level but exhibits heterogeneity, characterized by 3 distinct latent classes. Healthcare professionals should prioritize support for mother-infant relationship in the “weak bonding” and “synchronous dissonance” classes, implementing tailored interventions based on the identified influencing factors to enhance the feeding interaction.

Objective To investigate how caregivers of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia make decisions about nutritional assistance and how they undergo change during induction,so as to serve as a foundation for the therapeutic development of focused therapies. Methods Using the purposive sampling method, from June to November 2024,19 caregivers of children in the induction period of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in the Department of Hematology of a tertiary grade A women and children’s hospital in Guangzhou were selected as the research subjects. Co-temporal and ephemeral analyses were selected to explore caregivers’ decision-making experiences and corresponding trends at various stages. Results Totally 3 themes and 9 sub-themes were extracted, including trajectories of decision-making behavior change(negative characteristics of decision-making behavior in the early stage, emergence of decision-making behavior in the middle stage, and prominence of irrational decision-making behavior in the late stage),course of change in inner feelings(anticipation and bewilderment, reflection and perplexity, and helplessness and frustration),and influences on the change of decision-making behavior(lack of motivation for decision-making in the early stage, unclear guidance in the middle stage, and lack of positive result incentive in the later stage). Conclusion The experience of nutritional support decision making in caregivers of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia induction period is dynamic. Healthcare professionals need to take targeted interventions according to the trajectories of their decision-making experience and the reasons for behavioral changes at different induction stages to help caregivers form and maintain good nutritional support behaviors.

Objective To investigate the current situation of nutritional care competence among community nurses, analyze its influencing factors and training needs, and to provide references for the development of training programs for community nurses. Methods A stratified and convenience sampling method was used to select community nurses across China between April and June 2025. Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, the nutritional care competence scale for nurses, and a self-designed nutritional care training demands survey. Multiple linear stepwise regression was used to identify factors influencing nutritional care competence among community nurses. Results A total of 7 931 questionnaires were collected, with 5 716 valid questionnaires. The total mean score of nutritional care competence was(64.03±19.58),with the nutritional support care dimension scoring the lowest. Multiple linear regression revealed that region, community size, age, professional title, type of nutrition support specialist nurse certificate, frequency of residents or patients consulting nutrition information, frequency of actively obtaining or understanding nutrition nursing knowledge, and frequency of community organized nutrition nursing training are factors that affect nutrition nursing ability(P<0.05). A total of 88.44% of nurses expressed willingness to attend training. Online training(78.83%) was the preferred format, with 45 minutes being the optimal single-session duration(53.39%). Conclusion The nutritional care competency of community nurses in China is at a moderate level, with particularly weak performance in nutritional support. Nursing administrators should develop targeted,practice-oriented training programs—combining short-term intensive sessions and long-term learning mechanisms—based on influencing factors and demand characteristics. A hierarchical and region-specific approach should be adopted, with emphasis on strengthening nutritional support skills to comprehensively enhance community nurses’ nutritional care capabilities.
