A survey on retraining desire and demand of specialist nurses in 4 563 medical institutions in China

Abstract:

Objective To investigate the desire and demand for the retraining of specialist nurses medical institutions in China,and to provide references for the further work of the re-certification of specialist nurses. Methods Convenient sampling method was used to select the head nurses in the nursing departments of 5 030 medical institutions in 30 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities as the survey subjects in May 2023. The questionnaire was self-designed,and the survey was conducted by anonymous electronic questionnaire. Results 4 563 valid questionnaires were collected. Among the 4 563 medical institutions,the training of specialized nurses was carried out in various fields,among which 46.31% of the medical institutions have carried out the training of intensive care specialized nurses. 82.29% of the medical institutions considered it necessary to retrain specialized nurses;60.86% of the medical institutions suggested that the training cycle should be once every 5 years;68.05% of the medical institutions suggested that the training method should be online;47.97% of the medical institutions thought that the conditions could be applied without limitation. More than 80% of medical institutions believe that specialized knowledge and clinical practice ability should be the main training and assessment content. Conclusion Most medical institutions have the need for retraining of specialist nurses,and there are differentiated needs for the implementation of retraining. Retraining can be carried out on a pilot basis in the field of intensive care. The retraining and assessment of specialist nurses should mainly focus on specialist knowledge and clinical practice ability.

摘要:

目的 调查国内医疗机构对专科护士再培训的意愿及需求,为今后专科护士再培训工作的开展提供参考。方法 采用方便抽样法,于2023年5月选取30个省份的5 030所医疗机构护理部专科护士工作负责人作为调查对象,采用自行设计的问卷进行调查。结果 回收有效问卷4 563份。在4 563所医疗机构中,多个领域开展了专科护士培养,其中,46.31%的医疗机构开展了重症专科护士的培养。82.29%的医疗机构认为有必要进行专科护士的再培训,60.86%的医疗机构建议培训周期为每5年1次,68.05%的医疗机构建议培训方式为线上培训,47.97%的医疗机构认为符合条件即可申请再培训,不限制期限;80%以上的医疗机构认为应以专科知识、临床实践能力为主要培训和考核内容。结论 多数医疗机构有专科护士再培训的需求,且对再培训的实施存在差异化需求,可在重症专科领域先行开展再培训工作,专科护士再培训与考核应主要侧重专科知识与临床实践能力。
