Construction of the disease knowledge graph of knee osteoarthritis focused on public health education and non-drug interventions

Abstract:

Objective Guided by the “4P” medicine model,a disease knowledge graph of knee osteoarthritis (KOA),which focuses on public health education and non-drug interventions as application scenarios,was established. Methods We searched multiple knowledge sources of osteoarthritis or KOA,such as guidelines,consensuses,textbooks,literature,and medical websites,until January 31,2021. We labeled and established the entity ontology and relationship ontology of the KOA knowledge graph by a combination of artificial and computer intelligence. By visualizing the knowledge graph in a graph database and displaying it on the website,a public-participable KOA disease knowledge inquiry and question-and-answer channel can be established. Results Focusing on health education and non-drug interventions as application scenarios,a knowledge graph of KOA was plotted with a disease overview,clinical symptoms,clinical diagnosis,prevention and rehabilitation guidance,and treatment as the first-level knowledge framework. This graph consisted of 206 entity categories of KOA disease knowledge ontology and 20 types of relationships ontology between entities,forming 226 connections of knowledge entities. Conclusion A knowledge graph of KOA was established in this study,focusing on health education and non-drug interventions as application scenarios. This knowledge graph mainly focuses on the prevention and rehabilitation guidance of KOA,and it would be effective for enhancing the knowledge of KOA to the public and improving their health behavior management.

摘要:

目的 以“4P”医学模式为指导,构建以公众健康教育与非药物干预为应用场景的膝关节骨性关节炎(knee osteoarthritis,KOA)疾病知识图谱。 方法 整合骨关节炎和KOA相关指南、专家共识、书籍、文献、医学网站等多种来源知识,检索时间为资源库建立至2021年1月。采用人工与计算机智能化相结合的方式标注并建立实体本体与关系本体,将疾病知识图谱以图数据库可视化呈现、Web端表示,建立公众可参与的KOA疾病知识查询、应答的途径。 结果 该研究构建了以疾病概述、临床症状、临床诊断、预防与康复指导、治疗等为一级知识框架的KOA疾病知识图谱。该图谱包含206种实体类别的KOA疾病知识本体及20种实体间关系的关系本体,形成了226条知识点的联接。 结论 该研究构建的KOA疾病知识图谱强调以疾病预防与康复指导为重点的知识教育与健康指导,旨在提高公众的KOA相关知识及其自我健康管理能力。
