5 patients with severe ARDS complicated with hypercapnia received in vitro carbon dioxide removal therapy

Abstract

Abstract:

To summarize the nursing experience of 5 patients with severe ARDS complicated with hypercapnia who underwent extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal（ECCO₂R）. Key points of nursing care included：establishing a rapid emergency response nursing team for ECCO₂R；PETCO₂ real-time monitoring to grasp the timing of the machine；ensuring continuity of treatment and improving the removal efficiency；respiratory-related monitoring；prevention of complications of blood coagulation and hypothermia；and weaning from extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal. After careful treatment and care，all the 5 patients were successfully removed from ECCO₂R treatment.

摘要：

总结5例重度急性呼吸窘迫综合征合并高碳酸血症患者行体外二氧化碳清除的护理经验。护理要点：组建体外二氧化碳清除快速应急反应小组；实时监测呼气末二氧化碳分压监测装置，把握上机时机；保证体外二氧化碳清除连续性，提高清除效率；呼吸相关监测及护理；并发症的预防及护理；体外二氧化碳清除撤机的护理。经过精心的治疗和护理，5例患者康复出院，1个月后随访患者各项指标恢复良好。
