Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of colleague solidarity on job satisfaction among operating room nurses. Methods A total of 268 operating room nurses were recruited from 3 tertiary hospitals in Wenzhou by convenience sampling method， and were investigated with Colleague Solidarity of Nurses’ Scale and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire. The relationship between colleague solidarity of nurses and job satisfaction was analyzed. Results The total score of job satisfaction among operating room nurses was （56.0±14.0）. There were significant positive correlations between score of colleague solidarity of operating room nurses and score of job satisfaction. Regression analysis showed that the factor scores of colleague solidarity of nurses such as emotional solidarity and academic solidarity could independently explain 30.1% of the variance for job satisfaction after controlling demographic variables. Conclusion Clinical managers should focus on the shortcomings of colleague solidarity of operating room nurses， and take effective measures to improve job satisfaction in operating room nurses.
