Effects of compound essential oil acupressure on quality of life in perimenopausal syndrome patients

摘要: 目的 探讨复方精油穴位按摩对围绝经期综合征(perimenopausal syndrome,PMS)患者生活质量的影响。方法 采用便利抽样在四川省某中医院妇科门诊选取PMS(肝肾阴虚证)患者,分为试验组和对照组各30例,两组患者均给予中药杞菊地黄汤加减口服治疗,在此基础上,试验组采用复方精油穴位按摩,对照组实施穴位按摩。 两组患者均于干预前、 干预后第4周使用围绝经期综合征生活质量评定量表 (Menopause—Specific Quality of Life,MENQOL)评价患者生活质量改善情况。 结果 试验组干预后第4周的MENQOL总体生活质量优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。 试验组干预后第4周的MENQOL各维度得分低于对照组,其中血管舒缩症状、心理症状、生理症状维度差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),性生活症状差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。 结论 复方精油穴位按摩可提高PMS患者生活质量。

Abstract: Objective To evaluatethe effects of compound essential oil acupressure on perimenopausal syndrome (PMS) patients‘ quality of life. Methods In this quasi-experimental study,64 patients in gynecology clinic in Neijiang City Hospital of TCM were recruited using convenience sampling method from November 2013 to April 2014,and were divided into two groups in accordance with random number table. The experimental group(n=32) received compound essential oil acupressure,while the control group(n=32) received acupressure. Both groups were provided with Qijudihuang Tang for oral therapy. Menopause-Specific Quality of Life (MENQOL) was used to evaluate quality of life of PMS patientsbefore and 4 weeks after intervention. Results After 4 weeks’ intervention,the overall quality of life in the experimental group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01); compared with the control group,each dimensionof MENQOL in the experimental group was lower,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05) in vasomotor symptoms,psychological symptoms,sexual symptoms, and no significant difference in sexual symptoms(P>0.05). Conclusion Compound essential oil acupressure can improve quality of life of PMS patients.
